Refund policy

Order Cancellations

If you need to cancel an order, please contact us at support@archetypemade.com as soon as possible.
Orders may be canceled only if they have not yet shipped.
Once an order has shipped, it cannot be canceled. Eligible items may instead follow our return process.
Due to Shopify’s refund policy, a 3% processing fee will be deducted from refunds issued to the original payment method for canceled orders.
Store credit may be offered as an alternative and will retain the full value of the purchase.

Returns

Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery for in-stock items only.
Items must be:
  • Unused and unmounted
  • In original condition
  • Returned with original packaging and included components
All returns must be authorized by Archetype support before being sent back.
The following sales are final and not eligible for return or cancellation:
  • Presales
  • Preorders
  • Group buys
  • Raffle-style sales
  • Gift cards
  • Final sale items

Defective or Damaged Items

If your item arrives defective or damaged, please contact support within 14 days of delivery.
Defective items must be returned and inspected before further action is taken.
If the defect is confirmed:
  • If a replacement is available, a replacement item will be shipped after the returned item has been received and inspected.
  • If a replacement is not available, your refund will be issued as store credit for the full value or to the original payment method.
Return shipping for defective items:
U.S. Customers - We will provide a prepaid return label.
International Customers - Customers must pay for return shipping and provide a receipt. The return shipping cost will be included in the refund once the item is received and inspected.

Non-Defective Returns

For all other approved returns:
  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs
  • Items must be received and inspected before refunds are processed
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable
Refunds will be issued as store credit for the full value or to the original payment method less a 3% processing fee, due to Shopify’s refund policy.

Refund Processing

Once a returned item has been received and inspected, refunds will be issued within 7–10 business days.
Refunds can only be issued to the original payment method used at checkout, unless store credit is selected.

Return Conditions

Returned items must be unused and returned in their original condition.
Items that show signs of use, mounting, modification, damage, missing parts, or missing packaging may be denied or subject to deductions.
This includes, but is not limited to:
  • Mounted or used keycaps
  • Scratches, dents, stains, or other wear
  • Missing packaging or accessories
  • Damage caused by inadequate return packaging
